We appreciate this fact and the better news is the v2 is such a huge improvement over v1. This shoe is new from top to bottom and it fits and feels very very good. New, new, new. Saucony is taking a big risk messing with the heel stack on some key models, Guide 5 included. Traditionally Saucony went with a 12 mm heel stack but now they’ve gone with 8mm for that more natural foot fall. Does it work? It doesn’t NOT work. The new Guide feels great, it’s made very carefully, they look super cool. We have these in several widths.
